Alejandro LERENA (the younger, m.1 Isidora Chourino, m.2 Severa Fernandez 1854)

A SECOND ALEJANDRO, AND THE REASON THIS ARCHIVE DID NOT COLLAPSE TWO WIVES INTO ONE. On 2 December 1854 at Trinidad he petitions as 'Don ALEJANDRO LERENA de estado VIUDO de la finada Dona ISIDORA CHOURINO' to marry Dona SEVERA FERNANDEZ, and the witness names his parents as Don ALEJANDRO y Dona MARGARITA FERNANDEZ ALVAREZ - so he is a son of the elder Alejandro, and a brother of Socorro and Bernabe. HIS BRIDE IS A SISTER OF SOCORRO'S HUSBAND, both children of Manuel Fernandez Alvarez and Maria de los Reyes Gonzalez: two Lerena siblings married two Fernandez siblings in consecutive years, each pair dispensed. AND HIS FIRST MARRIAGE LEFT ISSUE: a daughter of his by Isidora Chourino married MALVINO PELAEZ, by a Flores death act of their son. He wished to marry quickly, the petition says, before a journey that would keep him away a long time. A SON AT LAST, AND HE CAME FROM THE GERENA SPELLING - 12 October 2026. VENANCIO, married at Santisima Trinidad on 24 April 1885, with his parents given as 'Alejandro Lerma' and SEVERA FERNANDEZ. THIS ARCHIVE HAD NO CHILD OF EITHER OF HIS MARRIAGES.
