The baptism of his son on 15 July 1886 gives him as 'hijo legitimo de Gualberto Lerena y de Rosaura Alvarez; abuelos paternos Alejandro y Severa Fernandez; maternos Juan Francisco y Clara Pelaez' - so he is a son of Alejandro Lerena the younger by his second wife, and the husband of the Rosaura Alvarez of the Trinidad births of 1901. He is not among the eight children of the couple baptised 1855-1865; he is older than 1886 by about twenty years if he was a man of twenty-five, so born between 1856 and 1865 or not baptised at Trinidad. Whether he is the Pedro Segundo Gregorio of 1865 under another name is not shown. His wife's parents are Juan Francisco and Clara Pelaez. HIS MARRIAGE, 25 JUNE 1885, AND HIS FULL NAME, 26 October 2026: he is JUAN GUALBERTO LERENA, 'oriental, soltero, de veinte y tres anos' - so born between June 1861 and June 1862 - and the act reads 'El dia veinte y cinco de Junio de mil ochocientos ochenta y cinco, el Presbitero Don Dionisio Garcia Caballero, Teniente Cura ... dispensado por el Ilustrisimo Senor Obispo Diocesano Monsenor Inocencio Maria Yeregui el parentesco de tercer grado de consanguinidad por linea lateral igual con que estaban ligados ... autorizo el matrimonio que por palabras de presente contrajo Don Juan Gualberto Lerena, oriental, soltero, de veinte y tres anos de edad, hijo legitimo de Don Alejandro Florencio Lorena, y Dona Severa Fernandez; con Dona Rosaura Alvarez, oriental, soltera de veinte y cuatro anos de edad, hija legitima de Don Juan Francisco Alvarez y Dona Clara Pelaez; fueron testigos Don Agustin Gomez y Dona Clara Alvarez'. THE THIRD DEGREE OF CONSANGUINITY BY THE EQUAL LATERAL LINE was dispensed: he and Rosaura are second cousins by a common great-grandparent. A Juan Ramon was baptised on 18 July 1862 as a son of the same parents (born 12 July 1862, which would make him twenty-two and not twenty-three in June 1885 - one year of the machine's 'twenty-three' or of the baptism's year): NOT MERGED with the Juan Ramon of 1862, probably the same man.
