Alejandro LERENA (the elder, m. Margarita Fernandez Alvarez)

THE FATHER OF THE TRINIDAD KINDRED, found 9 October 2026 in two expedientes three years apart. Named in 1855 as the father of SOCORRO LERENA and in 1858 as the father of BERNABE LERENA, both times married to MARGARITA FERNANDEZ [ALVAREZ], and in 1854 as the father of ALEJANDRO LERENA the younger. THREE CHILDREN, FROM THREE SEPARATE DOCUMENTS. NATURAL DE SAN JOSE, VECINO DE TRINIDAD - the 1858 expediente says so of him and his wife. ALIVE IN AUGUST 1855, when his daughter's petition describes her living at her parents' side. HIS OWN PARENTS ARE DRAWN ABOVE HIM: RAMON LERENA and MARIA GONZALEZ, at the apex of the schema the Cura Vicario drew in 1858. NO BIRTH YEAR IS RECORDED AND NONE IS INVENTED HERE. His daughter was born about 1832, so he belongs to the 1800s or the 1790s. HIS OWN MARRIAGE ACT, READ OFF THE PLATE THE SAME DAY HE WAS ADDED. Act No. 17, 16 September 1825, Villa y Parroquia de San Jose, before Don Joseph Andres Salvatierra: 'ALEXANDRO LEREÑA, Natural de la VILLA DEL ROSARIO, y vecino de esta, hijo legitimo de RAMON LEREÑA y de MARIA JOSEFA GONZALEZ'. SO HE IS A SON OF RAMON LERENA OF ROSARIO-COLLA AND A BROTHER OF MAURICIO, a descent this archive has held in data/ramon-lerena-rosario.tsv since 17 September. AND HIS BIRTHPLACE CONTRADICTS THE 1858 EXPEDIENTE, WHICH CALLS HIM AND MARGARITA 'NATURALES DE SAN JOSE'. THE 1825 ACT IS THE BETTER WITNESS - it is his own marriage, and it says ROSARIO, while calling Margarita natural de esta Villa, which IS San Jose. THE EXPEDIENTE'S PLURAL LOOKS LIKE A CLERK COLLAPSING TWO ORIGINS INTO ONE. Recorded as a conflict, not resolved by preference.
