SON OF RAMON FERNANDEZ AND MARIA LERENA, FOUND 19 October 2026. The Trinidad marriage act of 18 October 1894 (machine transcript): 'Don Ramon Fernandez Oriental, soltero, de treinta y cuatro anos de edad, hijo legitimo de Don Ramon Fernandez de Dona Maria Lerena; con Dona Maria Serna, Oriental y soltera, de veintitres anos de edad, hija legitima de D. Gervasio Serna Segobia [and Dona Asuncion]' - so he was born about 1860, three years after his sister Maria del Carmen. THE 1902 ACTS GIVE HIM A TRADE AND AN ADDRESS: 'Don Ramon Fernandez, de cuarenta y dos anos de edad, de estado viudo, Comerciante y vecino de la Segunda seccion', at the Costa del Sarandi, whose wife, named there Apolinaria Sena, was already gone when their son was born on 27 February 1902; his parents are 'Don Ramon Fernandez y dona Maria Lerena' and are named as no longer living. Bernabe Lerena, his mother's brother, witnessed the birth. His father's civil record is of 27 October 1887, when he was about twenty-seven; one of the 'tres hijos mayores de edad' named there. His two stated ages, thirty-four in October 1894 and forty-two in March 1902, are eight years apart across seven and a half; the rounding of the clerks. Not found: his baptism (about 1860, Trinidad), his own death, and his second wife if he married again.
