Act no. 23 (Estacion Sarandi, 30 April 1897, 4 in the afternoon; READ AT THE PLATE, the year, the declarant's age and the parents zoomed): 'Don Miguel Lerena, de treinta y nueve anos, casado, criador, vecino de Sarandi' and Don Pedro Cutino (34) declare that at one in the afternoon of that day, at her home in Sarandi, died 'Eustaquia Lerena, oriental, nacida en el departamento de Flores, de diecisiete anos, soltera, labores de su sexo', of 'hepatitis supurada'; 'hija legitima de don Mauricio Lerena, de cincuenta y ocho [the last word is cursive: read 58] anos de edad, casado, oriental, militar (de profesion) y domiciliado en Sarandi, y de dona Brigida Cespedes, de treinta y ocho [read at 1500 px, not zoomed] anos, casada, oriental, labores, domiciliada en Sarandi; abuelos paternos y maternos se ignoran'; 'los declarantes son tios de la fallecida' (Miguel Lerena is the brother of Mauricio, a son of Mauricio and Casimira Montano).
