Mauricio LERENA (m. Brigida Cespedes, named 1874-1884)

A SON OF MAURICIO LERENA AND CASIMIRA MONTANO, WITH A WIFE BRIGIDA, STATED IN TWO ACTS, FOUND 29 October 2026. Two baptisms of Trinidad, 27 April 1882 and 23 February 1884, give 'Don Mauricio Lerena y Dona Brigida Cespedes [Cupe in the first], orientales', his parents 'Don Mauricio y Dona Casimira Montana' - the Mauricio and Casimira Montano of Colla and San Jose; and Mauricio Lerena and Brigida Cerdes stood godparents to Juan Cipriano Lerena Beloqui in 1878 (another row). Which of the Mauricios on other rows he is - the one born about 1836 of the First Section, the Manuel Mauricio of 1838, or the husband of Petrona Aguilar (Trinidad 1866) - the acts do not say: POSSIBLY ONE, NOT MERGED. TWO MORE CHILDREN, 29 October 2026: Pedro Rolando (born 29 June 1885, baptised 3 February 1886) and Petrona Quintina (born 31 October 1886, baptised 20 April 1887); with Mauricio Isidro (1881) and Jacinta Margarita (1883) the register now holds four children of this couple, all with Mauricio and Casimira Montano as the paternal grandparents.
