The mark is the archive's grade for the person (documented, probable, inferred, family, disputed). A «link» mark says where the link itself comes from, and appears only where the archive has tested it. Being on the direct line is the bar at the top of the page, not a grade.

  2. Life

A SON OF MAURICIO LERENA AND PETRONA AGUILAR, DEAD AT CONCORDIA, ENTRE RIOS, IN 1910 - NEW TO THE REGISTER, FOUND 8 November 2026. Argentina, Entre Rios, Civil Registration 1833-1965, Concordia deaths, act no. 588 of 18 November 1910 (before Roberto Lex Klett, Jefe de la Oficina de Registro Civil; ark 3:1:3Q9M-C3WD-L9X6-R; READ AT THE PLATE, the entry and its names, not zoomed beyond that): the declarant, Justo Gre (forty, a hospital employee), says that at six in the evening of the day before, in the Hospital de Caridad 'Felipe Heras', died 'Ramon Lerena, de treinta y cinco anos de edad, oriental, casado, jornalero', of pulmonary tuberculosis, and that 'los padres del difunto son: Mauricio Lerena y Petrona Aguilar'; witnesses Eleodoro G.

Lapalma (forty-one) and Alberto Romero (twenty-one). A birth about 1875 by the age given. TWO THINGS THE ACT DOES NOT SETTLE. (1) Petrona Aguilar died on 23 July 1873 (her daughter's marriage act of 15 July 1901, see Gregoria Cecilia), so a man of thirty-five in November 1910 would be born about 1875, after her death; a declared age is a witness's guess and could be two or three years short, but the tension is stated. (2) The register holds a Nemecio Ramon LERENA christened at Trinidad on 24 April 1870 to Petrona Aguilar and 'Mauricio Peres' (index level, no act opened): forty in 1910, if he were this man. THE TWO CONCORDIA BIRTH ACTS, 8 November 2026 (READ AT THE PLATE, names and ages at ordinary size): act no. 219 of 8 April 1907 (ark 3:1:3Q9M-C3WD-L9RG-V): 'Don Nemesio Ramon Lerena, de treinta y cinco anos, oriental, casado, domiciliado en la calle Santiago' declares the birth, at three in the afternoon of the fifth, of Rogelio Vicente, son of his wife Laura Escobite; 'los abuelos paternos son Mauricio Lerena y Petrona Aguilar, y los maternos Alfonso Escobite y Concepcion Espinosa'; he signs 'Nemesio Ramon Lerena'. Act no. 315 of 16 May 1908 (ark 3:1:3Q9M-C3WD-L9T5-Q): 'Don Ramon Lerena, de treinta y siete anos, casado, domiciliado en la calle Santiago' declares the birth of Eduardo Isidro on the fourteenth, son of his wife Laura Escobite, twenty-four; the same four grandparents. THE MAN OF 1907 AND 1908 IS ONE MAN (the name, the street, the wife and the grandparents are the same), AND THE MAN WHO DIED IN 1910 IS PROBABLY HE: the death act of 1910 gives the same name Ramon Lerena, the same two parents, the same city, 'casado'; it names no wife, and the three declared ages (35, 37, 35) do not agree with one another, so no act ties the death to the father of the boys by more than these. He is recorded here as one man; the register's Nemecio Ramon of Trinidad (christened 1870) is NOT merged with him: the name and both parents fit, the ages (1871-1875) do not quite, and no act joins them. NOT KNOWN: his baptism, his marriage (to Laura Escobite, before 1907), and where in Uruguay he was born.
