What is known

A SON OF MIGUEL LERENA AND TOMASA RODRIGUEZ, DEAD AT FLORIDA ON 27 MARCH 1962, FOUND 4 November 2026. Civil death act no. 55, Florida, 27 March 1962, before Manuel A. Barraza (zoomed and read at the plate): 'JULIAN AMADOR LERENA, del sexo masculino, de nacionalidad oriental, nacido en el Uruguay, el 9 de enero de 1893, de sesenta y nueve anos, de estado casado, de profesion jubilado', died at 11.30 that morning at Gallinal 822, Florida, of a neoplasia of the liver; 'hijo de MIGUEL LERENA (finado) y de TOMASA RODRIGUEZ' [she is a widow of 93, labores, of Florida], 'casado con MICAELA ABELENDA' [sixty-eight, jubilada]; he leaves two children, Filadelfia and Gladys Rosa [the names of the daughters as the act gives them; no row is made for them]; the declarants are Fidel Justo Baleta (46) and Walter Omar Ferreri (41). HE IS TAKEN FOR THE 'AMADOR' (twenty-six, soltero, talabartero) OF THE ESTACION NICO PEREZ OFFICE OF 1919 (see that row: 1893 gives twenty-six) AND FOR THE 'AMADOR JULIAN LERENA' (twenty-seven, soltero, comerciante) WHO WITNESSES IN THE DEATH VOLUME OF 1919-1920; the register keeps the rows apart, and THE ACT OF 1962 NEVER SAYS THAT HE WAS A TALABARTERO. HIS MOTHER'S AGE (93 in 1962) AGREES WITH THE TOMASA RODRIGUEZ WHO WAS TWENTY-SIX IN 1894. The father Miguel Lerena is the Miguel of Villa de Sarandi/Arrayan del Yi (his row), a brother of the militar Mauricio. HIS MARRIAGE, 17 DECEMBER 1919, 4 November 2026 (civil act no. 59, Florida city, 1st Section, before Fernando Pareja [read]; film 008165704, image 670, ark 3:1:3Q9M-CS28-79Y6-S, read at the plate and zoomed): 'Don AMADOR JULIAN LERENA, de estado casado [the form's word], de nacionalidad oriental, nacido el dia nueve de Enero de mil ochocientos noventa y DOS en SARANDI GRANDE de este Departamento, de profesion COMERCIANTE, domiciliado en esta Ciudad, hijo de MIGUEL LERENA, oriental, de estado casado, de profesion RENTISTA, domiciliado en Sarandi Grande, y de TOMASA RODRIGUEZ, de estado casada, de profesion labores, domiciliada en Sarandi Grande'; he marries MICAELA ABELENDA, born 24 August 1894 at Rivera, a daughter of Miguel Abelenda and Dolores Cabeza (both dead); WITNESSES Hernando G. Lerena (thirty, casado, empleado, of Nico Perez) and Toribio Abelenda (thirty-five, soltero, hacendado, of Florida); the couple sign 'Micaela Abelenda de Lerena' and 'Amador Lerena'. THE YEAR OF HIS BIRTH IS READ 1892 HERE AND 1893 IN HIS DEATH ACT OF 1962 (and 'veintiseis' in the Nico Perez office of 1919): THE DAY AND MONTH, THE PARENTS AND THE PLACE AGREE; the marriage act is the nearer source but the year is not settled. THE MARRIAGE ALSO TIES HIM TO THE 'AMADOR JULIAN LERENA, twenty-seven, soltero, comerciante' of the death volume of 1919-1920 (a bachelor before the 17th of December) and makes the 'comerciante' of 1919 the man of the death act of 1962.
