THE MARGIN: 'Legitimacion. Legitimada por Manuel Mauricio Lerena y Dona Aurora Recalde con fecha 12 de Mayo de 1941 por ante el Oficial del E. Civil de la 10a Seccion del Departamento de Florida e inscripto en el registro respectivo ano 1941 con el Numero 16. Montevideo, 9 de Julio de 1941' (signed, the signature not read). The margin does not say how she was legitimated (the usual way is the parents' marriage, which no act here shows). Act no. 126; the witnesses are Martin Atanasio Gonzalez (forty-seven, herrero) and Leopoldo Juan Biagiani (forty-seven, an Italian, comerciante). A HALF-SISTER DEAD IN 1920, 4 November 2026: Olga Gregoria, also a natural daughter of Manuel Lerena, dead at two months on 13 March 1920 (see her row); the mother of Olga is not named.
