The Flores birth act of his daughter Carmen Donata, 2 March 1895 at El Tala, has him declare in person as 'Don [C]ipriano Lerena de CUARENTA Y DOS anos de edad, casado, oriental, HACENDADO y vecino de esta seccion' - so born about 1853 - with his wife 'Dona Laureana Belo[qui] de TREINTA Y NUEVE anos' and his own parents as 'nieto por linea paterna de MAURICIO, oriental, FALLECIDO, y de CASIMIRA MONTANO de SETENTA Y CUATRO anos de edad, VIUDA'. THAT NAMES HIS WIFE AND BOTH HIS PARENTS IN ONE ACT, which is why the separate row 'Cipriano LERENA Montana' - known only from a 1928 death-registration index - is merged into this one. THE PAIR HAD BEEN SPOTTED AND HELD APART SINCE 21 SEPTEMBER; AN ACT DECIDED IT RATHER THAN A FORENAME. HIS OWN DEATH OF 19 MARCH 1928 IS CONFIRMED a third time by the GERENA sweep, which names his parents MAURICIO and CASIMIRA MONTANO.
