Christened 17 August 1816 at the Vice-Parroquia of Nuestra Senora del Carmen at the Cordon, extramuros of Montevideo, 'Eusebio Congenio, que nacio el catorce del [corriente]', with the margin 'Eusebio Congenio Lerena'; godfather Mauricio de las Mercedes; signed Jose Antonio Fernandez. The parents are written 'Ramon Lerena, natural de Madrid' and 'Maria de Leon Gonzalez', the grandparents Salvador Lerena and Ana de Cubas on the father's side and Marcial de Leon Gonzalez on the mother's. HE IS THE BROTHER OF MANUEL LORENZO (1812) AND, BY THE SAME PARENTS, OF ALEJANDRO AND MAURICIO, on the names of the couple and of all four grandparents, which the 1812 act repeats. The index reads the surname Lorenas. Nothing else is known of him; the tree has an Eusebio Congenio Lerena 1816, unsourced and not used.
