Emilio LERENA (m. Paula CASARES)
A SECOND EMILIO, AND THE ONE ROW 137 WAS PROBABLY LOOKING FOR. The Uruguayan civil registration index cards 1900-1937 give him as the father of EMILIO DELFINO LERENA and CLOTILDE REINA LERENA, with his wife PAULA CASARES. HE CANNOT BE EMILIO ISIDORO LERENA RECUERO, born January 1906: that man's son would have had to marry as an infant, and Emilio Delfino has a marriage registration at FLORES in 1931. AND EMILIO DELFINO HAS A DEATH REGISTRATION IN THE SAME YEAR AND THE SAME DEPARTMENT, 1931, FLORES - married and dead within one year, if both cards are his. RECORDED AS IT STANDS AND NOT SMOOTHED. AN 'EMILIO LERENA' ALSO APPEARS WITH A WIFE AMALIA SILVA and children surnamed LERENA SILVA; whether that is this man remarried, or a third Emilio, is NOT ESTABLISHED. THE INDEX CARD SERIES CARRIES NO DATES OF BIRTH AND NO AGES, which is precisely why these men cannot yet be separated. INDEX ONLY.
No record here names a parent, spouse, child or sibling for this person. This archive calls that unplaced: held, named, shown with the record that produced them, and not tied to a household on anything less.
