Emilia LERENA Vega (b. c.1832)

A DAUGHTER OF PEDRO ANTONIO LERENA AND VICENTA VEGA, new to this archive. Entered at 18 in household 229 of the Montevideo census of 1850 - libro 264, household 229 - the eldest of the three children on that page. Not the Emilia Lerena b.1886 of Leandro's household, who is three generations later. Nothing else about her is known. THE CENSUS IS THE PADRON OF 1850, NOT c.1833 - CORRECTED 12 OCTOBER 2026. The catalogue lists film 7499042 item by item: item 1 is libro 263, 1843; item 2, where this household sits, is LIBRO 264, 1850. So this birth year moved seventeen years later. And the head of the household, entered at forty, was born about 1810 - not the Pedro Antonio Lerena born 31 July 1793 whom this archive had read him as. Either the census age is badly wrong or the household belongs to a different Pedro A. Lerena married to a different Vicenta Vega; under the neighbouring book, 1843, he would still be born about 1803 and still not be the man of 1793. See data/corrections.tsv.
