Abuelos paternos Mamerto y Delfina Diaz; maternos Bernabe y Casimira Pelaez. Fueron padrinos Venancio Borrallo y Francisca A. de Borrallo'. Baptised six months after his birth; the third child held for the couple (Maria Celia 1902, Ramon Doroteo Pedro 1905).
