A DAUGHTER OF JUAN PEDRO MELARA AND CASIMIRA H. PELAEZ, BORN 13 JANUARY 1919, FOUND 1 November 2026. The entry of 21 February 1919 (the Presbitero Don Juan E. Perez, Cura Vicario): 'Elida Benita [Melara], que nacio el trece de Enero de mil novecientos diez y nueve, hija legitima de Juan Pedro Melara [read at the plate; the machine has Melara] y de Casimira H. Pelaez. Abuelos paternos Juan y Ana Claveria; maternos JUAN Y ANTONINA LERENA. Fueron padrinos Isidro Pelaez y Clara Alvarez'. The mother's parents are written 'Juan y Antonina Lerena', the names of the Juan Pelaez and Antonina Lerena of the register's eldest generation; that cannot be one pair with a mother born in the 1880s or later, so the entry gives a family descent, not an identification, and the mother is NOT placed here. The padrinos are Isidro Pelaez and Clara Alvarez, a couple of the Pelaez branch (their daughter Antonina Perpetua was baptised in 1900).
