A person of this surname, unplaced

Bartolome PARTIA (witness, Rosario 1800)

Named with ANDRES PAIS and FRANCISCO PEREZ DE CEBALLOS as accompanying RAMON LERENA on 11 NOVEMBER 1800. THE SURNAME IS UNCERTAIN - the transcript gives 'Don Bartolo. Partia', which may be BARTOLOME PARTIA, or a mangling of PARTE, BERTIA or similar. NOT RESOLVED. THE SURNAME IS PROBABLY GARCIA, AND THIS ROW'S NAME IS PROBABLY WRONG - 11 October 2026. Image 29 names the two sworn appraisers as 'Don BARTHOLO GARCIA y ANDRES BRIVAQUI', who took an oath before Ramon Lerena to value the estate faithfully. 'Don Bartolo. Partia' AT IMAGE 26 IS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE SAME MAN - the same forename, in the same room, on the same business, five days apart. IF SO HE IS A GARCIA APPRAISING A GARCIA ESTATE, which is ordinary in a small district and is worth noticing. NOT RENAMED YET: the archive does not rename a person on a probable reading of a mangled transcript, and the two frames have not been compared on the plate. THE TEST IS TO OPEN IMAGE 26 AND IMAGE 29 AS IMAGES.
