A WOMAN OF EIGHTEEN, BURIED 18 AUGUST 1892, WITH HER MOTHER NAMED AND HER FATHER NOT. The plate reads: 'En diez y ocho de Agosto de mil ochocientos noventa y dos se mando dar sepultura eclesiastica al cadaver de Sara Lerena, soltera, hija natural de Teresa Lerena, orientales, que fallecio hoy de diez y ocho anos de edad. De que certifico.' The margin reads 'Lerena, Sara.' 'Hija natural' is a child born out of wedlock, so Lerena is her mother's surname and no father is entered. Born about 1874. She is not placed in any Lerena family here: nothing says which Lerena her mother was born to, and the Teresa of the 1901 burial is not tied to her.
