What is known

A SON OF PIO C. LERENA AND BERNARDINA HARRISON, DEAD AT THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY-TWO DAYS IN OCTOBER 1890, FOUND 26 October 2026. The civil act of Chamanga (Sexta Seccion de Flores), entered in the book just before the act of 23 October 1890, in the machine's text: 'ha fallecido Celestino Lerena, de nacionalidad oriental, de tres meses y veintidos dias de edad, a consecuencia de congestion cerebral ... hijo legitimo de don Pio C. Serena [Lerena], de treinta y cuatro anos, casado, oriental, hacendado y vecino de Chamanga, y de dona Bernardina Harrison, de veinticinco anos, oriental. Asi mismo se hace constar que los abuelos paternos son don Alejandro F. Lerena y dona Severa Fernandez, ambos fallecidos, y los maternos Don Eversfiela John Harrison, fallecido, y dona Petrona Perera, espanola'; the first declarant was his uncle Venancio Lerena, thirty-three. So born about late June 1890. MACHINE TRANSCRIPT, THE PLATE NOT OPENED. He is the first child of Pio and Bernardina found since their marriage of January 1884, and the act names the paternal grandparents - Alejandro the younger and Severa Fernandez - as 'both dead' by 1890.
