Adolfo LERENA (godfather, Pocitos 1903)

A LERENA MAN THIS ARCHIVE HAS NEVER MET, and he was invisible until the plate was opened. He stood godfather to Maria Margarita Zalduondo Lerena at Pocitos on 15 August 1903, with Maria Angelica Yubia. A Lerena at the font of a Lerena woman's child is very likely her brother - which would make him another child of the AVELINO and CELIDONIA B. whose names are on the same act as maternal grandparents. THAT IS THE OBVIOUS READING AND IT IS NOT DOCUMENTED HERE: the act gives him no parents and no age. He is also the only ADOLFO in this register. AND HE IS TWELVE YEARS OLDER THAN THIS ROW THOUGHT - 11 October 2026. At NUESTRA SENORA DEL CARMEN, EL CORDON, between January 1891 and July 1892, 'ADOLFO LERENA' and 'MARIA MERCEDES LERENA' stood godparents together to BALVINA MARIA, daughter of MANUEL CABRERA and BALVINA VALDIVIA. SO HE WAS AN ADULT BY 1891, not merely by 1903, and he was at the Cordon - the parish where Alejandro Maximo Lerena married Elisa Villademoros in 1871 and where the Lerena Traibel were christened. TWO LERENAS AT ONE FONT AGAIN, and this time both of them are ours to place. She is given no married name, which is the ordinary way a register writes an unmarried woman, so BROTHER AND SISTER IS THE LIKELIEST READING AND IS NOT PROVED. THE DATE WITHIN THE VOLUME IS NOT ESTABLISHED - the book runs January 1891 to July 1892 and the act was read from the names panel, not the page.
