Civil act no. 9 of Maciel, 14 July 1918, in the machine's text: 'Ciriaca Gonzalez, ... de ciento tres anos de edad, de estado viuda ... murio sin asistencia medica ... en casa de Don Fermin Llerena, hijo politico de la extinta'; the declarants were Diego Eusebio Duran, twenty-one, and Eufemio Mendaro, both employees at Maciel. Her birth place and her parents are not stated ('se ignora'); a birth about 1815 would make her the mother of a woman born about 1852 at thirty-seven, and a woman of a hundred and three is more often a round number than a count.
